The theme of the upcoming PlantLink day is “New plant products”. Speakers: Robert Brummer (Örebo University, Sweden), on the topic of Plant-based Proteins for Health and Wellbeing and the national research center PAN Sweden, Heiko Rischer (VTT, Finland), on the topic of Plant cell cultures as food, and their work with coffee cells, Eslam Salah (Lupinta) on developing the future of food with Lupinta, Walter de Milliano on breeding Sorghum for Nordic climates, Mariette Andersson (SolEdits/SLU) on potato innovations by genome editing, Alice Grønhøj (Aarhus University) on barriers and opportunities for the uptake of more plant-based diets, Kristian Holst Laursen (University of Copenhagen) on high-quality crops for plant-based diets and Katarzyna Dymek (OptiCept Technologies AB).
The PlantLink day 2022 is the 5th of October in Alnarp, and will start before lunch with a tour of the Plant Protein Factory.
